Gorey Geary… 8th season… Infielder, RHP… Aquinas High School… Graduate of UW-La Crosse where he was their starting shortstop… “Mr. Smooth” in the infield… Had a frustrating 2014 season with a finger injury early, sidelining him for the remainder of 2014… Had only 43 at bats with a .349 BA… Looks forward to returning and having a strong 2015 season. |

Ben Levendoski… 7th season… Infielder… De Soto High School… Graduate of UW-La Crosse… Works for Kwik Trip… The only player on the present roster that has played every position in the field… Had his best season in 2014, finishing 2nd in at bats with 142 and a BA of .324… Had 24 rbi’s with 31 runs scored… Looks forward to continuing his solid performance in 2015. |

Kyle Servais… 6th season… Catcher… Westby High School… Graduate of Winona Saint Mary’s and was the starting catcher his senior season… Excellent behind the plate and had another good year offensively, finishing with 129 at bats and a BA of .302… Had 2 HR’s, 25 rbi’s and 25 runs scored… CCV will depend on his solid performance again in 2015. |

Jordan Greenland… 5th season… Outfielder… La Farge High School… Attends UW-La Crosse and plays baseball there… After sustaining an arm injury in 2013 that limited his playing time, he returned to form in 2014… He finished 2nd on the Blues with a BA of .328 with 131 at bats… Had 2 HR’s and 18 rbi’s and led the team with 35 runs scored… Also led the Blues with 14 doubles and 15 stolen bases… Plays solid outfield with a strong arm. |

Jeff Raasch… 5th season… Outfielder… Westby High School… Graduate of Western Technical College with a criminal justice degree and is employed full time by the Viroqua Police Department… Good defensive player… Has a career BA of .260. |

Travis Check… 4th season… Infielder… La Crosse Logan High School… Employed by the La Crosse Fire Department…Has been a top player in the MVL for many seasons… Had another strong year with the bat for the Blues in 2014… Had 91 at bats with a BA of .341… Led the team with 3 HR’s and had 24 rbi’s and 22 runs scored… 2nd on the team with 12 doubles… An excellent defensive player and will probably move to first base in 2015. |

Joseph Vike… 3rd season… RHP/Infielder… Holmen High School… Mississippi Valley Conference Pitcher of The Year in 2012… Attends UW-La Crosse… Used mostly as a pitcher for CCV in 2014 and appeared in 10 games, throwing 48 innings… Finished with a 4-1 record, and a team 2nd best ERA of 1.88… Gave up 16 walks while striking out 39… Will be an important part of the Blues rotation in 2015. |

Tim Verthein… 2nd season… RHP… La Crescent High School… Graduate of UW-La Crosse where he also played baseball… Pitched in 2 games for CCV in the 2013 season… Became the “ace” of the staff in 2014, where he led the Blues in innings pitched with 73 2/3 and a record of 8-1. He led all starters with an ERA of 1.71, while walking 33 and striking out 95. Will be a mainstay of the staff in 2015. |

Clay Gale… 1st season… Catcher… La Crosse Central High School… 2014 First Team All-Conference and played on Central’s Mississippi Valley Conference Championship team… Currently a freshman at UW-Stout and is playing baseball there… Will give depth to the Blues catching position. |

Mitch Stalsberg… 1st season… LHP/Outfielder… Viroqua High School… Attends Winona State University and plays baseball there… 2014 WBCA 1st team All-State and Player of the Year… All-West Central District… Coulee Conference Athlete of the Year… All-Conference all l4 years of high school… Pitched a 17-strike-out, no-hitter for Winona State in an April game… Will add to the strong pitching rotation for CCV in 2015… Also an excellent outfielder and will provide another strong bat in the Blues batting order. |

Ben Faga… 1st season… RHP/Infielder… La Crosse Central High School… Four-time letter winner… Honorable Mention All-Mississippi Valley Conference sophomore year... First Team All-Mississippi Valley Conference junior year... MVC Player of the Year as a junior... Second Team All-MVC as a senior... First Team All-District and First Team All-State junior year... Had Tommy John Surgery after an arm injury…Attending UW-Stevens Point and playing baseball… Will add depth to the pitching rotation will play some in the field. |

Bobby Juan… 1st season… Outfielder/Pitcher… La Crosse Central High School… Named the Gatorade and Louisville Slugger State Player of the Year for the state of Wisconsin, and was also a Third-Team ABCA All-American… Was a three-time All-State, All-Area and All-Conference honoree… His senior year, he batted .603 with 14 home runs and 44 RBI in only 28 games. Played 4 years at U 0f Minnesota… Sophomore season he batted .307 and had 14 multiple hit games while playing in 53 of 56 possible games and started in 41… Ranked third on the team in hits (47) and total bases (72) for a slugging percentage of .471… Tied for first on the team with 18 walks… Also played with the La Crosse Loggers 2011-2013…. Will provide depth for CCV in the field and on the mound… Even though he is a first year player with the Blues, his experience will provide leadership for the younger players. |
